As I’ve said before, Techshop is a community workshop that works kind of like a gym membership. You pay a monthly fee, and in return you get access to a plethora of tools and space to make almost anything you want.
This is the place where I have been spending most of my time lately. I have trained with tools in both the wood shop and metal shop, but have spent most of my time working with wood. In my next post I will show some of the projects I am currently working on.
Last weekend Techshop had an open house, and I got to bring my mom and show her around, let her see what all the other creative people are making here. So I figured I would give a mini tour of the shop to show my family and others what the place has to offer.

In addition to the pictures above, they also have plastic forming equipment, an electronics lab, and a sand-blasting/powder coating area – though I have not yet used any of those sections of the shop.
Here’s someone else’s short video about Techshop.
In my next post I will show some of the projects that I am working on, as well as a few of the member projects on display.

Hello, I tried to search for FBI Criminal Background Check in Google and click your blog by chance. It’s funny that your document was burnt!! I can’t believe! So did you finally get those document? Seoul is exciting city.
If you have any question regarding South Korea, just let me know then I can help u!
Haha, yeah. I got the documents squared away, and really only one edge is a little burned. But I have not yet been to the embassy to see if they will accept a *slightly* crispy document
Do you live / work is South Korea? I don’t have any questions about Korea in general, because I’ve spent ~3 years living there altogether. But I love ideas about places to live and work around Korea.
